I Hate Everything About You ~♥~ Three Days Grace ({Sam's Perspective.})

.Chapter 5.

I rushed out to the living room where Amanda stood.

“WHAT!”

She looked at the ground, kicking at the carpet. “Oh, umm… Nothing?”

“Don’t you lie to me… Older lady!” I hissed.

She released a small giggle.

“This is no time for giggling! What did you mean, “So do you?” As in, he still has competition. For what, exactly?”

“I told you, nothing.” She lied again.

“Lies,” I told her.

She shook her head and ran around the living room.

“Mandy, tell me, now!”

“Noooo! Not on my life, girlie!”

“Fine. You don’t get to borrow my Converse that were signed by Stephenie Meyer anymore.”

“Ugh!! That’s not fair! Sam made me PROMISE!”

“Promise WHAT, exactly? That’s all I want to know, Mandy.”

“Okay, FINE. Sam likes… Ice-cream.” And she ran into the bathroom and locked the door.

“Mandy!” I shouted over the doorbell. “Come in Sam!”

“It’s not Sam.” Cameron said.

“Oh, hey Cam.” I said, opening the door.

“Cay, there’s something I need to tell you.”

“Sure, come on in.”

“Ah… Actually, would you mind coming out here?”

I nodded okay and shut the door behind me.

“Yea?” I asked, looking at him strangely.

“There’s something that… That I’ve kind of been keeping from you.”

“Uhm… I think I know what it is.” I said, recalling the phone call that I had just finished.

“Wait, how did you find out?”

“Sam and Mandy… With a little help from Matt.” I grinned.

“Wait, but no one knows but me… How could they know about Peyton?”

“Uhm, I told you guys after I met you, remember?”

“No, something else about him…”

“Wait, so it’s not that you like me?”

He blushed. “It’s not that I… Don’t… It’s just… About Peyton, not that.”

“Oh, sorry.”

“Uhm… You might be kind of mad at me after this, so… Could I get something off my chest first?”

“Go for it.” I said, encouraging him to tell me the secret he would like to tell me.

But it was NOT a secret that he wanted to tell me. Far from it.

He grabbed my back and pushed me into a long kiss.

I tried to shove him and to tell him that’s not what I thought he meant. But he wouldn’t release his hold on me.

“What the heck?” Matt questioned loudly. “GET OFF MAH LADY, PUNK!”

Cam looked across the yard and so did I.

Sam had the most pained expression on his face, and it quickly turned to one of pure anger.

“CAMERON!” He shouted angrily.

Amanda opened the door in time to see Sam walk away.

I swore I saw at least one tear fall down his pale cheek.

({I know that the song may seem a bit dramatic for what happened, but I seriously couldn't find a good song for this chapter. Unless... Straitjacket Feeling would work? Lemme listen to it... No, definitely not. I tried Stab my Back, too, and that doesn't work..})

Enjoy!

.Chapter 4.

After the last few classes of the day, we all left the humongous building of torture. Where you were forced to learn ridiculous things, and eat prison food.

“I’ll see you guys later.” I said, as I walked up the driveway to mine and Amanda’s big, brick house.

“Are you okay, Cay?” She asked softly, while she unlocked the front door.

“Yea,” I said, nodding my head.

“Sure? I mean, ‘cause I sort of… Saw something…” She muttered.

“Oh… You mean, with S-Sam?” I stuttered.

She nodded once, “Uh-huh.”

We walked inside and threw our bags down.

“Umm… Peyton made me kind of upset, and he was the first friend I saw, so… Uh, I guess, that’s just… It…” I trailed off.

“Oh. Okay.” Amanda said, realizing that I didn’t really want to talk about this particular subject anymore.

“Want some ice scream?” She asked.

“Cookie-dough.” I smiled.

She headed off into the kitchen, and my phone started singing Music is My Boyfriend by Skye Sweetnam.

“Heya, who’s this? Sorry, I didn’t look at caller ID.”

“Peyton.”

“Leave me alone, you loser.” I scoffed.

“Now Ivory, don’t be like that…” He murmured softly.

“I said, leave me alone. Now stop calling me, changing my number takes forever.” I huffed, and hung up.

“Who was that?”

“No one,” I said, and turned my head to roll my eyes.

It’s kind of obvious, isn’t it? Or not. Whatever, I don’t even understand.

Mand handed me my dish of ice cream, and flicked on the TV. We started watching Mad TV, and cracked up laughing when her home phone rang.

She picked it up, “Hey, Daniels residence, Amanda-Lynne speaking.”

“Oh, hey Sam” she said, smiling delicately.

I stuck my tongue out at her.

“Yea, Chaotica’s right here!” She handed me the phone.

“Hey Sam,” I said, walking into my bedroom.

“What’s up, are you feeling alright, now?” He asked.

“Yea, everything’s cool. Why?”

“I don’t know… Just checking up on you, I guess. What are you doing?”

“Watching Mad TV with Mand, why, what are you doing?”

He laughed, and at first I didn’t understand why. “Watching Mad TV with Matthew.”

Matt was his younger brother, by four years.

I released a small giggle. “That’s odd. Wanna come over?”

“Sure, we can watch Mad TV together… Can Matt come, I’m supposed to watch him.”

I heard Matt call out in the background, “HE’S NOT BABY-SITTING ME! I’M TOO OLD FOR THAT! Wait… We’re going over to Chaotica’s house? Oh… Baby-sitter, TAKE ME WITH YOU!”

I laughed out loud. “Matt is weird.”

“Yea, and also in love with you. Looks like Cameron has competition.”

“You too,” Mandy’s voice sounded, probably from the phone in her room.

“Shut up Amanda.” Sam hissed.

I smiled, and then a confused look spread across my face. “Hah.. Wait, WHAT!”

“Bye, see you in a few.”

And the line went dead.

.Chapter 3.

I stormed out of the lunch room, I’d lost my appetite.

He just had to ruin my day, didn’t he? I thought.

All of my friends caught up with me.

“I’ll kill him.” Sam muttered.

“Thanks for the comfort Sam, but he’s back, and he’s already ruined my day.” I said, my jaw extremely firm when I spoke.

I saw Sam smirk from my comment, but it soon faded when we heard footsteps.

“Guys, leave.” I ordered them.

“No.” Sam said, turning to me.

I stared at him intently. “Yes.”

“You’re extremely stubborn, do you know that?”

“Yes sir, I’m well aware.” I smirked at him.

He grinned and him and Ashlee walked away.

I wheeled around, facing Peyton… Gregory. My face already plastered in an exasperated look. “What do you want?”

“Ivory, I’m here to explain.”

“So you’re past denial now?” I hissed.

“I’m only past the games… Ivory, stop this.”

“Stop what? And my name is Chaotica, Gregory.” I snapped, temper rising.

“Your name is Ivory, and my name is Peyton. Get over it, sweetie.”

“Don’t you dare call me that!”

He rolled his eyes. “You’re pathetic... So I see you’ve moved on?”

I watched him eye the direction that Sam walked off in.

“Yes I have, but no, I’m not dating anyone, fool. And pathetic is more like YOU. Why, are you jealous?” I said angrily.

“No, my silly girl… I’m just upset that you don’t have… Better taste. In men… Or “little boys,” and… Clothes? They’re atrocious. Who are you now, Ivory?”

“Who I’ve always wanted to be, Peyton. You’ve actually taught me a lesson.”

“And what might that lesson be?”

“Don’t run away crying, keep crying and kick the guy where it hurts.” And I did just that. tears spilled over the brim of my eyes, and the same goes for him. I ran off to find my friends.

“Just leave me alone!” I shouted, while running off, tears streaming down my cheeks.

He brings back so many horrible memories… And criticizing me! How dare he? He doesn’t know me, he never did!

I ran into Sam first. I wrapped my arms around him, while my tears created wet stains on his AFI t-shirt.

“It’ll be okay.” He said, hugging me back.

It was then, that I finally felt safe, safe from Peyton.

.Chapter 2.

I’ll tell you now that I look nothing like my old self.

My beautiful, past-shoulder length, brunette hair, had been chopped to shoulder length, dyed black, and my side-swept bangs had light blond streaks in them. I’d given up on hiding my gorgeous hazel eyes with contacts, and just let them shine beautifully. I no longer wore my Aeropostale, and American Eagle clothes. I now despised stores similar to those, they had never really been my thing. I was no longer a popularity queen, I was sort of the girl that no one paid attention to, besides my friends, unless I messed up. I was just the girl that wore casual, or clothes from Hot Topic. Most likely a band t-shirt, and a pair of jeans, with my Converse, or Adidas, during the warmer days. I was different. My music was still the same, my intelligence, and values were still the same, but my taste in men was different. Peyton was always sweet, and the jock was adorable, but he was never really my type. I had always fell for the skater/rocker boys back home in Seattle, but I’d have never admit it. I was now free to hang up my band posters in my room, (I lived with Amanda, she was like my sister.) and bring my band t-shirts to the front of my closet, without being afraid that my popular friends would find them when they came to my house.

I was walking to lunch when I spotted him.

He was so… Familiar looking. He had chin length, blond hair, with abnormally bright green eyes, and his hair was streaked with black. He was wearing what looked like an AE long-sleeve, with a Boys Like Girls band tee over it, and jeans, with a pair of white Vans.

I noticed his face, his eyes. Everything else about him was completely different, but I knew him. And I knew that he knew me.

He had been talking to a few of the other guys, hockey jocks, and he was flipping his hair out of his face, when he spotted someone. Not just someone, me.

He knew that he knew me.

Sam and Ashlee looked up, and didn’t understand at first. They must’ve noticed the way that I’d been staring at them with a blank expression, when they finally understood.

That was Peyton Jackson, and they knew it, too.

They quickly hurried me out of the hall, and into the crowded lunch room. We were too slow, he was already making his way over to us.

“Hey, I’m Gregory Jackson.” He said, staring intensely at me.

“Hello… I’m Sam Hector, and this is Ashlee Lane…” Sam said.

“And I’m Chaotica.” I said shortly.

“Sorry, I didn’t catch your last name.”

“Because she didn’t say it, smart stuff.” Ashlee retorted.

He pretended to look taken aback, “Oh. I’m sorry. Is it not a custom for women to speak their last names, here in America?”

“Oh shut up Peyton.” I hissed. “You’re from Seattle, Washington, and you know darn well that women can speak their last names!”

“Peyton Jackson? Oh, hah! You must be mistaken.” He said rudely.

“You think I’m stupid, don’t you? I can see right through your plans, Peyton. I know who you are, and why you’re here, don’t think you’re fooling me for a second. It won’t happen again, I’ll tell you that now. I have friends, I have family, and they’ll never let you hurt me, ever again. That’s right, Peyton. They know. They know everything, right down to the running away. Right down to the last slap you gave me!” I said, keeping a straight face. I was angry, and he wouldn’t see me cry!

.Chapter 1.

“Hey Cay,” Amanda chanted, coming up to stride beside me.

I had a chain of best friends.

Amanda-Lynne Daniels, Sam Hector, Cameron Jackson, Terra Lane, and Ashlee Lane. Terra’s fraternal twin sister.

“Hi Mand.” I replied.

Sam, Terra, Cam, and Ashlee followed in pursuit, all greeting me warmly.

“Hey guys.” I smiled.

They all knew of my past, and they were the only ones to EVER know.

We arrived at school that day to hear about a new student named Gregory Jackson.

I thought nothing of the last name.

Yet.

Running.

Intro.

Ivory Chaotica Hale

“Ivory!” Peyton cried out. “Come back!”

With tears streaming down my face, I ran. “Peyton, no!”

“C’mon sweetheart!” He yelled.

“No!” I yelled back, still running. He was following me. “Leave me alone!”

“No, I love you!”

“No you don’t!”

He stopped running, but I didn’t.

I ran, and ran.

My life was a mess.

My parents were dead, my boyfriend was a complete jerk. Never date a jock.

My boyfriend was a perfectionist, and he’d attempted abuse several times, but he had never gotten me. And he never will.

I was running, and I wasn’t coming back this time.

I had been running from his house, he’d tried to kiss me, and I didn’t want him to.

I fled from my home. My home in Seattle, Washington, and I was never, ever going back.

Finding ways to get to Manhattan wasn’t easy, nowhere near simple, either.

Since barely anyone knew me, I got my name permanently changed to Chaotica Willow Daniels, and started my new life in Manhattan. I was “a relative” of the Daniels family, or so we all said. I was 15, almost 16, and I was sure that I could find something to do with my life. I’d already started at my new school; Wellington High School. And I’ve made some new friends, but I’ll tell you right now that this was not the last time that you will hear of Peyton Gregory Jackson. He’ll be back.

He is back.

Ashlee Letterman
Hayley Hale
Willow Trust

Chapter 1/?

"Hey Ash," I called out, motioning for Ashlee to come over.
Ashlee Letterman. One of my best friends.
And traveling along beside her was my second best friend. Willow Trust.
"Hey Will," I smiled at her.
She greeted me. "Hi Hayley. What's up?"
"Not much."
We were all striding along, carrying the rhythm of each others' footsteps; when the sound of non rhythmical footsteps were noticed.
We stopped, and the footsteps continued.
I wheeled around. "Trace!"
"How did you know it was me?" He questioned.
"Uhm, not that hard to figure out Trace." Will said, who had stopped walking, along with Ashlee.
Soon we picked up a conversation, and continued walking together.
This was a nice day... I suppose. I mean, I'm going to make it on time to school, I'm with my friends....
We approached the school.
